Vietnam SuperPort™ Partners Vietnam Post on Digital Logistics to Accelerate SME Growth

Vinh Phuc Province, December 17, 2024 – Vietnam SuperPort™ and Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to cooperate in the co-creation of customized platforms that supports small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in exporting goods to Asia. This strategic partnership is set to play a pivotal role in enhancing the flow of goods across the region, offering SMEs a streamlined pathway to international markets.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen  Khac Hieu, Deputy Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee; His Excellency Jaya Ratnam, Ambassador of Singapore to Vietnam; and Dr. Yap Kwong Weng, CEO of Vietnam SuperPort™ and Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Chairman of the Members’ Council of Vietnam Post Corporation. The MOU marked the start of cutting-edge collaborations between Vietnam SuperPort™ and Vietnam Post, leveraging their combined strengths to facilitate efficient trade and logistics solutions. Both parties are committed to providing SMEs with a seamless solution that simplifies the export process.
Specifically,  Vietnam SuperPort™ and Vietnam Post cooperate to support SMEs to connect with  markets in Asia through multi-channel solutions of YSG – an end-to-end e-commerce solutions company under YCH Group. This initiative helps SMEs access end-to-end logistics solutions, with Vietnam SuperPort™ acting as a multimodal hub powered by the YSG e-commerce platform. Vietnam Post provides EMS express delivery services and is the exclusive provider for first-mile and last-mile delivery services for SMEs. Through this approach, SMEs will be able to optimize transportation and inventory maintaining costs as well as ensuring stable warehousing when accessing international markets.
In addition, Vietnam SuperPort™ will collaborate with Vietnam Post to develop an integrated logistics marketplace that connects the ecosystem of bonded warehouses, customers, shipping agents, banks, fully digitalising operational and payment processes. The platform will have a direct link with banks and apply blockchain technology for embedded financing and disbursement, helping SMEs improve access to financing options.
The initial phase of the project will be a pilot implementation for businesses in Vinh Phuc Province to export goods to Singapore, followed by expansion to other provinces nationwide and extending to other markets in Asia.

Previously, at the Innovate Vietnam 2024, Vietnam SuperPort™ unveiled a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap which leverages cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive the capabilities of Vietnam’s logistics sector.
